Safety Demonstrations

Energizing Safety is brought to you by the member-distribution cooperatives served by Northeast Power. We are excited to bring safety education through both live-line and table-top demonstrations to our schools and communities. Audiences can include elementary through high school students, fire, rescue and EMS teams, employee safety meetings and community events.

We are committed to fostering a culture of safety, providing valuable resources and promoting awareness about electrical hazards.

Through Energizing Safety, our electric cooperatives take pride in being community-focused and dedicated to delivering reliable and safe electricity to our members. With a strong emphasis on public safety, we have developed this educational initiative to promote a deeper understanding of electrical risks and precautions.

Our program offers a comprehensive curriculum covering a wide range of topics, from basic electrical safety principles to advanced practices for first responders. Tailored content is available for different age groups, ensuring that both children and adults have access to age-appropriate materials. Participants will learn how to respond effectively in the event of an electrical emergency, including actions to take and whom to contact. Participants will develop a heightened awareness of electrical hazards and how to avoid them.
